LANSING — The Dow High bowling season came to a close at Friday and Saturday’s Division 1 regional at Royal Scot Lanes.
Dow’s boys’ team had Nick Steiner in 35th place with a 1,070 on Saturday that included a 200 high game, and Jack Yarosh was 41st with a 1,035 on the strength of a 228 high game.
“We had some good games and some bad, but you get that type of inconsistency with a young team,” said Dow boys’ coach Joe Lunsford. “It was a great experience for us in our second year, and we’re growing and are only going to get better.”
The Chargers tied for 10th with a 3,478 at Friday’s team competition, where they held a lead over regional champion Carman-Ainsworth until the ninth frame of the last team game before falling 925-884.
