Dow High placed second with 333, as Jack Morgan scored 79 and Jack Yarosh shot 82.
“Jack (Morgan) just keeps playing steady golf,” Dow coach Mark Pickering said. “He comes from a family of good golfers, so he’s not going to be intimidated by seeing good shots. It makes him our best fit for the number one spot.”
The Chargers’ Jon Baillargeon scored 85 and Andrew Michalowski shot 87.
“I haven’t had a group of golfers who so willingly work on whatever I ask of them in practice,” Pickering said. “Every tournament, our score has gone down pretty significantly. I’m really proud of the way we hung in there today. We’re learning how to manage a golf course, and a second-place finish in our conference is a great next step for us.”
Midland and Dow both compete next Monday at the Tullymore Invitational.
