The first win of the new season came on the second night of back to back games for the Dow Chargers. A much improved Bay City Central team put up a tough fight to keep the first half close only trailing 30-32 at half time. However, the Charger defense took over in the second half to hold the Wolves to just 18 points. The final score was Dow 61, Bay City Central 48. The Dow scoring attack was very balanced with four players finishing in double digit scoring. The Chargers were led by Jacob Stone with 14 points, Nick Sierocki with 13, Zac Chichester with 12, and Isaac Moolenaar with 11. There was significant improvement over the performance from the previous night’s loss. The next game for the Chargers will be on Friday at Mt. Pleasant.
