Dow High, in its match against Mount Pleasant, split the Baker games while going 4-6 in the individual matchups. Nick Steiner won both of his games: 195-135 and 243-162, while Jamison Pnacek won once 203-163, as did Jack Yarosh 130-112. In the Baker games, the Chargers won 149-145 in the first game, then lost 200-184.

Dow Boys Bowling Gets First Win of the Year

The Dow High boys’ bowling team beat Bay City Western 22-8 on Saturday. Ian Matthews led the Chargers with a 234 game and a 424 two-game series. Nathan Painter had a 418 two-game series and had 14 strikes. Other top scores were Matt Painter with a 402 series and Jamison Pnacek with a 400 series.
